PodTube is a $5, handy application that allows you to easily import Youtube, Dailymotion, and Myspace videos into iTunes–and yes, this means you can transfer them to your iPod.
Very neat, especially if you want to show your friends some of the videos you seen…instead of awkwardly trying to describe how funny they were. They will thank you.

I quote: Vienna is a freeware, open source RSS/Atom newsreader for the Mac OS X operating system. It provides features comparable to commercial newsreaders, but both it and the source code are freely available for download.
A summary of some of its features:

Now released from Apple-Web Apps for the iPhone; these include games, Facebook, AIM, and even mobile banking. There are many more than just those though, so you might want to check it out! All of these require internet access, and from what I can tell, all of them are free.
All you have to do is visit the url of that Web App, for instance, if you wanted to go to Facebook, you’d go to the url http://iphone.facebook.com. You can find the url of the Web App on Apple’s website.
All of these Web Apps were originally there, but Apple has just created a directory of all of them-or at least most of them.

Firefox 3 is having an identity crisis on the Mac. Recent screenshots reveal that the new theme is striking similar to Apple’s Safari. If you can’t innovate, imitate.

I wanted to keep this as a reference for myself… This was posted on http://www.tuaw.com.
This article was NOT created by me.

There’s a lot to love about the Mac’s user-friendly desktop and one of my favorites is the Dock, otherwise known as “that spot at the bottom of the screen where all the application icons line up.” Here are a handful of nifty tricks for the dock that new users might like to know about, and long-time users may have forgotten.

I just wanted to point out a feature on Apple’s website, that I didn’t know until just now, which you may find useful. They basically bring out a new tip a week.

I’ve been very busy lately because of school, so I haven’t been posting much up, but I’d like to point out…
If you are considering an iPod Classic vs. any of the other iPods they are selling now, the iPod Classic has a lot of space on it, but it is hard-drive based, which makes it slower than the other iPods, such as the nano. It has a very high chance of lagging in coverflow, and a small chance of lagging a little bit during regular use. (Like loading songs and such)
It also has the disadvantage that it may not work quite so well if your running or moving around alot, because it uses a hard-drive. (Same as the older models)
Unlike the older models though, the new OS for the iPods uses a lot of system resources, therefore, you get a slower iPod.
Basically, just try one at the Apple store before you decide to buy one. Most likely they aren’t as bad as I’m describing.

Ahh yes everyone, one of the many reasons not to get a mac, has now just become a reason to get a mac. That’s right, games. That is, if the only games you play are mad by EA
If your a gamer, you’ll be very happy to find that Apple has “partnered” with EA, to bring you your favorite EA games on your Mac! The games that have been released are the following: Madden NFL 08, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08, Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Need for Speed Carbon, and finally, Battlefield 2142.
They are even reselling some accessories such as a Razer Pro v1.6 Mouse specifically made for the Mac.
You can see more info about it (including a “buyer’s guide”) here.
Thanks to this, you know Apple is paying attention to the gamers, and might even release more games to the mac!
